Charming in Central Brittany
This B&B or gite, gets pretty good reviews on most counts, and it’s cost and location makes it a good central hub for exploring Brittany. The big upside here are the hosts Christian and Christiana who are both charming, welcoming and helpful. If you have the time to linger a range of cooking classes and food exploration missions can be organised. The rooms in the establishment are adequate and moderately charming, given the price, but our bed in the Lois XV room was just a tad small for us “normal” sized travellers. There is very little to do in the local village and services are not a strong point here. Also there did seem to be an extraordinary rowdy rush hour in the street in front of La Prévenchère every morning, so a good sleep in was not always possible. Overall, you get what you pay for.
